Getting A Quick Job

So you’re sitting there unemployed eh?  Well with some help from this guide you should be out there working your hustle in no time.   The trick to getting a job quick is pretty simple, just three simple rules to follow and you should be grinding out that nine to five in no time.

Step 1:  Know your skill level
Don’t go applying for the head of the neurology department if you scraped by with a C average in high school, set your expectations to realistic goals.  Know what jobs you are suited for and look in those areas, once you start getting income you can have to the freedom to reach for the stars and try those dream jobs.  Also if you are a college graduate or have some other type of degree, don’t try to settle in to fast food or tossing pizzas, you can get paid a lot with that degree, and the demand for people who are more skilled is pretty high, if your really desperate throw out as many applications as you can, but make sure you pick the job that will pay through the teeth for you.

Step 2: Attitude
There is nothing worse for your chances at getting a job than being a prick on first impression.  Make sure you are friendly and inviting when meeting for interviews, don’t give them a list of things you don’t do, talk about your strengths.  In that regard, don’t be a pushover!  If you get locked into a job and you find yourself doing everyone else’s work, you got to put your foot down.

Step 3: Flooding the market
This is the most simple of all the steps, just flood the whole local economy with your application, apply for each and every job that your skilled for.  Don’t go out fill out 1 application for that perfect job then expect a call 100% of the time, you have got to have options and that starts out by covering as much ground as you can.
